Dear Reader,
I wanted to thank your for giving Buckshot Blast and the Goldfish Getaway a chance. As the title might suggest, this is a thriller with a heaping helping of strange and playful.
Much of the story came to me one night while riding an stationary bike, listening to Sufjan Stevens. Stevens is known for tackling challenging subjects in his songs from John Wayne Gacy to abusive parents to religion and politics.
Like the song this book was based on, “Should Have Known Better”, Buckshot stares into some of the toughest emotions we grapple with: envy, greed, and love. If you like action-packed and quirky, I think you’ll love this book, and if you have children of your own, please send them your love today.
They’ll always appreciate a kind work.
All the best,
Jody J. Sperling
